The challenges and opportunities presented by energy storage systems were some of the topics discussed at the third seminar of the Red+Energy Program, developed by our partner the Industrial and Mining Training Center – CEIM, and in whose realization we supported as a Concentration Association Solar Power.
The activity, carried out in the Antofagasta region, was attended by students, academics, regional authorities, representatives of energy generating companies and SMEs in the industry, who discussed the challenges to develop energy sustainably, within the framework of the process of change of the energy matrix of our country.
On the occasion, the ACSP manager, Cristián Sepúlveda, received the catalog of energy providers in the Antofagasta region, after which he pointed out “this information allows us to organize and have easy access to each of the companies that are related to our industry. We appreciate the effort that it took to generate it, because for our partners it will be a very useful tool when facing our own tasks of construction or maintenance of our plants”.
“We trust that this type of instances will allow us, among all of us who are related to the energy industry, to generate a common vision that will allow us to decarbonize our matrix and thus give renewable energies a real opportunity to be part of the development of our country”, concluded Sepúlveda.
