• In a new ATA Insights talk, actors from different areas of the energy industry will analyze the potential of solar energy for our country.
This Tuesday, August 23 at 10 a.m., a new remote meeting will be held called “New CSP project in Chile and the future of the energy matrix”, in which the role of solar thermal energy will be analyzed.
In this initiative, whose participation is completely free, the Executive Manager of the Concentrated Solar Power Association, Cristián Sepúlveda, the Technical Advisor of the Ministry of Energy, Javiera Ketterer, the Director of Business Development and Energy Management of the Grupo Cerro, José Chávez and the Sales and Business Development Manager of Jhon Cockerill, Pedro Cabanillas.
The benefits that the Concentrated Power Industry (CSP) with thermal storage brings to the electricity grid will be shown on the occasion, especially by allowing more photovoltaic and wind power to be added to the grid. In addition, the bankability of this technology in the short and medium term at the hands of Cerro Dominador on its new CSP project, Likana Solar of 690 MW.
