Recently, the consortium formed by Cosin Solar Technology Co., Ltd.(Cosin Solar for short) , China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huaye Power Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the EPC project of the 100MW CSP project of the Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Integration Project, and signed the EPC contract with the owner.

According to the consortium’s division of labor, Cosin Solar will mainly be responsible for the technical scheme, equipment integration and supply, related commissioning and operation guidance services of the Solar field and MSR system, and will also provide necessary technical support for other systems as required by the owner.

Currently, many new energy base projects with CSP projects are under construction. Cosin Solar has already obtained the most CSP projects in the industry, which fully demonstrates the recognition of Cosin Solar’s technical strength and project performance in the field of CSP by all owners. Cosin Solar will leverage its comprehensive advantages in CSP technology, engineering, operation and other areas to ensure that all CSP projects are built with high quality and quickly put into production, to enable them to play a critical role of energy storage and peak shaving in the new energy base projects.

Introduction:

The Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Integration Project is one of the second batch of market-oriented grid-connected new energy projects in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2022, and an important supporting project to promote the development and growth of the new energy industry in Turpan, with a total investment of approximately 6 billion yuan. The project site is located in Qiketai Town, Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a total installed capacity of 1GW, including 900MW PV(AC side) and 100MW CT CSP. The 100MW CT CSP, with a 12-hour molten salt storage system, will adopt the molten salt tower CSP technology fully developed by Cosin Solar.
