803,000 kwh! The single-day power generation of Qinghai Gonghe CSP Power Station hit a new high!

On July 21, the optimized operation mode of Qinghai Gonghe Solar Thermal Power Station generated a single day of 803,000 kWh of power generation, and the operating time of the unit was 19 hours. The daily production index is only 12 days after the best power generation of 724,500 kWh in a single day on July 9.

Qinghai Gonghe 50MW Photothermal Power Station is located in the Ecological Solar Power Generation Park of Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It adopts molten salt tower technology and is one of the first batch of solar thermal power generation demonstration projects in the country.

The power station uses 30,000 surfaces and 20 square meters of heliostats, and the central elevation of the heat absorber is 210 meters. The annual utilization hours can reach 3,138 hours, and the power generation is 156 million kwh. It can save about 51,200 tons of coal consumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions every year. About 154,000 tons, with significant environmental benefits, has positive significance for optimizing the local power structure, protecting the ecological environment, and solving the peak-shaving problem of the local power grid.
